Spinning Babies® Continuing Education

Spinning Babies® is a physiological approach to preparing for and caring for birth.  With Spinning Babies, self-care and specific body activities restore body balance and make room for the baby. Babies then put themselves into the best positions possible for childbirth – within the anatomical space available.

Swedish Massage Certified

Trained with expert instructors at McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, CA.  Swedish massage is one of the most common forms of massage that uses long, gliding strokes, kneading and tapping on the soft tissue of the body.

Certifying Postpartum Doula

Ongoing postpartum doula training through Childbirth International (CBI).  CBI is the only training organization globally teaching courses for birth and lactation professionals awarded with the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

Bengkung Belly Binding Techniques

Bengkung is a traditional Malaysian belly binding technique, which literally means ‘cloth belt’.  It’s a practice of tying a long strip of cloth (around 15-17’ long) around the torso during postpartum recovery to ensure strong support to your womb.
